News From Wells Fargo: DFW-Area Bank Offers Support for Non-U.S. Citizens Opening Personal Accounts
Wells Fargo branches in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area offer support to non-U.S. citizens and their families who are living and working in DFW looking to open personal bank deposit accounts.
The process of opening a bank account in the U.S. may appear to be a daunting task for those who are not U.S. citizens. Wells Fargo bankers are available to assist and can help counter some of the misperceptions associated with opening a bank account in the U.S. Wells Fargo accounts can be opened by properly identified people who come from many countries, and live and work in the U.S. As part of its standard account opening procedures, Wells Fargo requires that prospective customers opening a deposit account have at least two forms of valid identification. For information on personal bank accounts, identification required to open, and to make an appointment to see a Wells Fargo banker, please visit Checking Accounts: Open Online Today | Wells Fargo
