1) Describe your company and its relationship to the UK.

Membership at Advancial Federal Credit Union is a benefit provided by BABC. For years, Advancial has helped international assignees, like our friends from the U.K., establish a banking relationship in the U.S. The Inbound USA Program removes requirements of providing a Social Security Number and U.S. credit score, giving employees access to the financial services they need without the headache. Advancial is a not-for-profit financial institution that provides a diversified line of advanced financial solutions to over 90,000 members worldwide.

2) What has been your biggest success at work, either personally or as a company/organization?

Advancial Federal Credit Union was named the winner of the 2019 Banking, Tax & Financial Services Innovation of the Year award at the Forum of Expatriate Management (FEM) Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs). “Advancial provides expats with badly needed services and gives genuine attention to the needs of their clients, expanding services and demonstrating real results.” – EMMA Judge

3) What does the BABC provide to you that you can’t find anywhere else?

The BABC has been a long-time advocate and supporter of Advancial and provides opportunities to connect with other like-minded businesses seeking solutions for their employees’ needs.

4) What’s the largest thing you want to accomplish in 2020, and how can the BABC or its member companies help?

In 2020 we want to further build relationships within BABC, to grow our membership, and to grow our brand in the U.S. through valuable professional collaborations. While Advancial offers services for all generations, we are very excited to connect and engage with the new Young Professionals network which allows us to promote services to the next generation of financial consumers.

5) Personally, what’s your favorite UK export?

Thanks to a variety of top industries originating from the U.K., Advancial has had the pleasure of helping the employees who come to the U.S. to work for these companies. The expat is by far the best export!
