Why is your organization a member of BABC Texas?

I have been a member of BABC for many years because my personal practice, business immigration law, is a natural fit for an organization whose main purpose is the development of British business and industry within Texas. Through this organization, I have developed relationships that have led to new business opportunities and expanded my business network significantly. I have also enjoyed attending the various events produced by the BABC, as they are always informative and worthwhile.

As a premier member this year, I have been able to introduce the organization to others at my firm so they can also take advantage of the opportunities to showcase JW’s expertise across all practice areas. For example, my colleagues are presenting a webinar for BABC members on November 15th entitled, “Let’s Talk: Estate Planning” during which they’ll discuss U.S. estate issues and considerations for non-citizens.

What do you hope to achieve this year?

Our deep experience and global footprint make Jackson Walker the ideal business partner in providing services to international companies entering the U.S., specifically Texas. Every day we work with a broad mix of private and public companies looking to expand their business operations, and we plan to continue building upon our reputation as a “one stop shop” for companies looking to grow their Texas presence.

Speaking for my immigration law practice specifically, I intend to continue enhancing the services offered to our current clients while meeting with companies throughout the U.S. and globally to develop and implement immigration programs that best fit their U.S. immigration needs.
