BJSS is a technology and engineering consultancy for business. We have developed expertise in specific industry segments including energy, healthcare, retail, financial services, and public sector. Established in 1993 in Leeds, United Kingdom, BJSS is a Queen’s Award for Enterprise-winning technology and engineering consulting firm. BJSS has since expanded globally to Houston, New York City, Lisbon, Copenhagen, and Melbourne, with further international expansion planned this year. In January 2022, we achieved a landmark milestone by exceeding 2,000 consultants who deliver pragmatic, high-quality solutions to our customers.

Why is your organization a member of BABC Texas?

BJSS is excited to be an active and engaged member of BABC Texas, and we look forward to networking with the broader membership community, learning about fellow members’ business challenges, and increasing brand awareness in Texas and the broader US. We feel that BABC is an ideal partnership to enable BJSS to deliver solutions to a broader audience, expand our local presence, and grow as a company in a relatively new region.

What do you hope to achieve this year?

Our goals for fiscal year 2022/23 are to expand our regional customer base and double the size of our current Houston team of 35 consultants. To achieve these results, our primary objectives include:

1. Expanding our consultants’ knowledge and expertise. As partners with AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, and commercetools, BJSS enables learning paths through each of these partners to our consultants and covers certification costs. We stand behind our consultants as they are the lifeblood of our success.

2. DE&I and Sustainability. BJSS is committed to providing our consultants with a safe and equitable work environment so that our people can deliver sustainable solutions to promote a better future for our customers.

3. Deliver projects and services to at least one new customer per quarter. Our primary focus is on Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Retail, where the broader BJSS organization has delivered value for nearly three decades.

4. Expand satellite locations to Austin, San Antonio, and/or Dallas. Local resources will enable a deeper understanding of the customer landscape specific to these geographies.
