Describe your organization“IIS is a boutique consultancy firm specializing in new market entry and growth. We provide a holistic service de-risking the international growth process. We cover all aspects of global growth including market comparisons, financial and location analyses, site selections and visits as well working across the regulatory and compliance procedures in different markets. Our project management service allows us to hand-hold and guide companies through the steps they need to become operational in a new market more quickly and efficiently. We have supported companies ranging from Technology Fast 500 companies to global scale ups looking for their next market.” Why is your organization a member of BABC Texas?“We are interested in the Trans-Atlantic ties between the US and the UK. BABC provides links into the Greater Texas economy, insights and events that we find invaluable. The US is a big place, and we are interested in continuously developing our networks and relationships in the Texas business community. BABC provides essential and valuable networking opportunities for us, and it allows us to build on our existing networks across both the US and the UK. We are members of BABC in Texas since the size of the Texas economy, the business growth trajectory and the sectors that thrive in the area are very in line with the types of companies we work with.” What do you hope to achieve this year?“Our US client base has remained strong despite the global pandemic. We would like to focus on highlighting opportunities in the UK and the rest of the world for US companies interesting in growing their business internationally as well as ensuring that our clients interested in the US market get the support they require and are linked into the right networks. We will be focusing on running topical webinars on international growth and considerations. We will also be running supply chain competitions to attract the best and the brightest into the UK supply chain. These will be across multi sectors and initially will be focussed on the life sciences and technology sectors. Once international travel is a possibility, we will be looking to partner with organizations such as BABC to host seminars, roundtables and receptions with our clients and partners in Texas.” |
