Our member Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd. is preparing to launch their first Single Malt Whisky – The Hearach (Scottish Gaelic word for a native of the Isle of Harris).

When the distillery was founded and opened its doors 8 years ago the purpose was to create long term, sustainable employment, and high quality spirits that would represent the unique and beautiful place they are from.

The distillery is now very excited to finally be launching their Single Malt, giving their award-winning #IsleofHarrisGin company on the shelf.

#TheHearach will be officially launched on the Isle of Harris on Friday 22nd September, and then available in the US from October. Join us in marking the occasion with a ceremony at the distillery which will be live streamed online.
