John Ardill is Vice President of Global Exploration at ExxonMobil, located in Houston, Texas. He was born in the UK and is a U.S. citizen, having worked in the U.S., Europe, South America and the Middle East.
John has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Edinburgh and Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool. He began his career as a geologist in London. Over the last 28 years with ExxonMobil, John has held various leadership positions in Exploration, Development, Production, Research, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate. John is currently responsible for ExxonMobil’s exploration activities around the world. John is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Petroleum Engineers, Geological Society of London, and serves on several other Boards.
