BritishAmerican Business (BAB) has published its analysis of the US-UK Technology Prosperity Deal (TBD).

The Technology Prosperity Deal (TPD), signed by the United Kingdom and the United States in September 2025, establishes a collaborative framework across the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technologies, civil nuclear energy (including fusion), and foundations for frontier innovation – aiming to accelerate innovation, strengthen supply chains, and ensure both countries maintain global leadership in science and technology.

In this paper, BAB provides an overview of the key commitments set out in the agreement, outlines any existing cooperation in its focus areas, and analyses the strength of each commitment, with a specific view to the impact on business. The analysis also offers some recommendations for governments on how to bring the deal to life.
