Member Spotlight: PD&MS Group

Laura Stewart | Business Development Director

“Being part of the BABC Texas community gives us a real foothold in the region. It’s not just about networking, it’s about building trusted relationships as we establish ourselves in a new market.”

About PD&MS Group

PD&MS Group is a UK-headquartered engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning company supporting the energy sector. We specialise in delivering brownfield engineering, asset support, and integrated project solutions, working closely with operators to extend asset life and improve efficiency. Our vision is centred around delivering practical, high-quality solutions that make a real difference to our clients’ operations, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and sustainability.

We serve a broad mix of clients across offshore and onshore energy, and what drives us is building long-term partnerships based on trust and delivery. In recent years, we’ve continued to strengthen our position in the UK while taking meaningful steps to grow internationally, which is an exciting phase for the business.

Membership Journey

Joining BABC Texas was a strategic move for us as we look to establish and grow our presence in the Gulf of America. The organisation provides a valuable platform to connect with businesses that understand both the UK and US markets, which is exactly the kind of network we were looking for.

So far, it’s been a great way to start building relationships and gain insight into the local landscape. Over the coming year, we’re keen to build on those connections, learn from others who’ve successfully expanded into the region, and contribute to the community as we grow.

What’s Ahead

Over the next 6–12 months, our focus is on establishing a strong and sustainable presence in the Gulf of America, building local partnerships, growing our team, and aligning closely with operator needs. A key part of this is bringing our proven track record in brownfield modifications and decommissioning to the GoA market, with a clear focus on optimisation and cost efficiency.

In the UK, we’ve supported operators in maximising value from late-life assets, reducing scope, streamlining execution, and delivering projects more efficiently without compromising safety or quality. We see a strong opportunity to apply that same mindset in the GoA, helping operators simplify complex scopes, shorten schedules, and reduce overall project costs.

Ultimately, it’s about enabling clients to achieve more with less: less downtime, less spend, and less operational disruption. This aligns directly with our broader ambition to be a trusted partner in operational optimisation and late-life asset management.

Collaboration Opportunities

We’re keen to collaborate with other members through introductions, knowledge-sharing, and joint opportunities where there’s alignment. In particular, we’d welcome conversations with operators and supply chain partners involved in brownfield projects and decommissioning activities in the Gulf of America.

We’re also open to co-hosting events or roundtables focused on late-life asset strategies, cost optimisation, and lessons learned from the UK market. There’s a real opportunity to share insight across regions, and we’re keen to be part of that conversation.
