About Blick Rothenberg
Blick Rothenberg is a leading UK‑based tax, accounting, and business advisory firm known for supporting internationally focused businesses, private clients, and fast‑growing companies as they navigate complex cross‑border challenges. Our vision is to be the trusted partner for organisations and individuals operating across the UK–US corridor, offering insight‑led advice that enables confident decision‑making and long‑term success.
We work with a broad range of clients—from multinational groups and scale‑ups expanding into new markets, to highly mobile executives and families requiring specialist international tax support. What drives our mission is simple: to combine deep technical expertise with a highly personal, relationship‑led approach that helps clients thrive in a constantly evolving global landscape. In recent years, we’ve continued to strengthen our US–UK advisory capabilities, including expanding support for inbound US businesses entering the UK market and enhancing our services for internationally mobile workforces through our North American Growth Hub. Joining the British American Business Council Texas Chapter reflects our commitment to building our presence in the US market, broadening our network, and collaborating with like‑minded businesses. We look forward to contributing to the community, supporting fellow members, and developing new opportunities to create value together.
Membership Journey
Over the past decade, Blick Rothenberg has built strong and trusted relationships with Texas‑headquartered businesses, particularly in Austin, Houston, and Dallas. We’ve supported many of these companies as they expanded into the UK and navigated complex cross‑border tax, accounting, and mobility issues. Through this work, we’ve gained a deep appreciation for the energy, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit that define the Texas business community. Joining BABC Texas felt like a natural next step. The organisation brings together the very ecosystem we’ve been part of for years—leaders, innovators, and internationally-minded companies who value collaboration and share an interest in the UK–US corridor. Membership offers a formal platform to deepen those existing relationships, broaden our network, and contribute to a community that aligns closely with our values and international focus.
What’s Ahead
Over the next 6–12 months, we’re focused on deepening our support for Texas‑headquartered businesses as they expand internationally, particularly those building or strengthening their presence in the UK. Having spent the last decade working closely with companies across Austin, Houston, and Dallas, we’re excited to build on that foundation with a more regular in‑market presence, closer collaboration with local partners, and a more proactive role within the BABC Texas community. Our priorities for the year include:
- Expanding our on‑the‑ground engagement in Texas, with more frequent visits across the state to meet clients, connect with ecosystem partners, and participate in BABC events and roundtables.
- Supporting a growing number of transatlantic scale‑ups and established US businesses, particularly those navigating UK tax, accounting, and mobility challenges as they enter or expand in the market.
- Strengthening our relationships within the Texas innovation and energy corridors, leveraging the networks we’ve built in Austin’s tech community, Houston’s energy sector, and Dallas’ corporate hub to create more value for clients on both sides of the Atlantic.
- Sharing cross‑border insights through thought‑leadership, seminars, and collaborative sessions with BABC members who are tackling similar international growth opportunities.
These initiatives support our broader mission: to be the trusted partner for internationally minded businesses, combining deep technical expertise with a warm, relationship‑led approach. Our goal is to continue helping Texas companies thrive in the UK while contributing meaningfully to a community that has always welcomed us with openness and enthusiasm.
Collaboration Opportunities
Although our membership is still new, we see BABC Texas as a strategic partner in supporting our continued growth in the region. We view the chapter as a catalyst for:
- Strengthening connections with organisations we already work with in Texas’ major innovation hubs
- Meeting new businesses exploring transatlantic expansion or in need of specialist international tax and advisory support
- Sharing insights and learning from peers who are navigating similar opportunities and challenges
- Building brand visibility across a community that values trusted advisors with cross‑border expertise
In the coming year, we hope to engage more actively through events, roundtables, and introductions, contributing our experience while developing new partnerships that support our clients and the wider BABC network. Our ambition is to become a key resource for members looking to expand, invest, or operate successfully between the UK and Texas.
