Member Spotlight: Dunn Advisory Partners

Giles Dunn, Managing Director

“The firm joined BABC to engage with companies and decision-makers operating across the UK and U.S., particularly where capital, policy, and execution intersect in shaping long-term outcomes.”

About Dunn Advisory Partners

Dunn Advisory Partners is a boutique advisory and investment firm based in Houston, Texas, focused on the metals, energy, and chemicals sectors. The firm supports boards, owners, and management teams on M&A, transitions, and complex operating situations, drawing on senior executive experience across $100bn+ of domestic and cross-border transactions.

Membership Journey

We joined BABC to engage more closely with the UK–US business community and to participate in practical, informed dialogue around trade, regulation, and investment between the two markets. With long-standing relationships on both sides of the Atlantic, the firm values BABC as a forum for substantive exchange, policy awareness, and trusted relationships among those active in transatlantic commerce.

Current Focus

Most recently, the firm has been engaged in situations where conditions have become unstable and conventional advisory approaches have failed, often where trade policy and macro pressures collide and the status quo is no longer viable. This includes distressed or derailed transactions, balance-sheet strain, operational breakdowns, declining sales, margin erosion, or escalating environmental liabilities. The firm brings senior judgment and hands-on execution to situations where decisions carry real consequences for preserving and rebuilding long-term value.

Collaboration Opportunities

Dunn Advisory Partners welcomes discreet, situation-specific conversations with members involved in UK–US trade, investment, operating businesses, or advisory work—particularly where practical experience, sound judgment, and discretion matter more than visibility or marketing.
