Meet Claire Markwardt, North American Managing Partner, Q5

Introducing Claire Markwardt and Q5

Describe your organization

Q5 is the leading authority for discerning business leaders who care about ‘organizational health’. Our firm helps clients develop organizational strategy, design operating models, develop their leaders, improve their culture, and to deliver change at speed.   In summary, we provide the ‘art’ and ‘science’ to deliver organizational health.

We serve over 150 clients per year, across most industry sectors. Since launching Q5 in 2009, we have opened offices in London, New York, Sydney, Hong Kong and Oman.

We’re delighted to have now extended our reach to Houston. Claire Markwardt, a native Houstonian, has been appointed Managing Partner of Q5 North America, and will be based in Q5’s new Houston office.

Why is your organization a member of BABC Texas?

Q5 is thrilled to be a BABC Texas member. The support provided to us since we arrived last year has been hugely important, from making useful introductions to explaining the ins-and-outs of working in and being a part of Texas.

We are looking forward to a great future, filled with networking opportunities and events across Houston and Texas, with likeminded people keen on British American business.

Lastly, the BABC Texas enables us to be close to the pulse with the consulate and wider trade relations – as a global firm this is a priority.

What do you hope to achieve this year?

We want to rapidly grow our business footprint in Texas, hiring top notch, service-oriented professionals (across all levels) to deliver great work for our clients.

We want to grow our network of clients and contacts, both within the Energy industry, and also in healthcare, aerospace, and technology industries, across the whole of Texas.

We want to become a well-known and trusted consultancy, providing specialized partnering with our clients, in a fun and engaging manner.
