1) Describe your company and its relationship to the UK.

XE are the world’s trusted currency authority, helping businesses and individual consumers save money on their international payment requirements and foreign exchange risk. Although XE started in Canada, our largest office is based in Bracknell, UK. We have offices in 8 locations globally, including Austin, Los Angeles, Toronto, and London.

2) What's been your biggest success as a company/organization?

XE are proud to be part of the Euronet (NASDAQ:EEFT) family, and together we form the second largest money transfer business in the world. This success is a result of our culture, customer focus and the talented and dedicated team who exemplify our philosophy.

3) What are you most excited about as a BABC Texas member?

There are a number of reasons why we are very excited to have joined BABC Texas this year. The events and webinars that BABC have hosted have been fun and very informative. Fundamentally though, we are looking forward to building our network with likeminded companies and individuals that do business with the UK. We are also very excited for the infamous Christmas Curry!

4) What's the largest thing you want to accomplish in 2019/2020, and how can the BABC or its member companies help?

There are a number of political and economic factors (I won’t mention the B word) worldwide that impact everyone’s day to day business. Whether this is paying suppliers, overseas staff or selling internationally, currency movements have a significant effect on the costs of doing international business. Our mission is to ensure that businesses and individuals are in the best place to minimize the risk of market volatility with their currency needs. The BABC members will be aware of this already and are in the best position to help educate other businesses.

5) Personally, what's your favorite UK export?

Any and all IPA beers from our fine country!
